Our church evangelism and soul winning is to fulfill the Great Commission given by Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus commands his disciples to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”
Our churches see this command as a call to actively engage in evangelism and soul winning as a means of sharing the gospel with their local community and beyond. The goal is to see people come to faith in Jesus Christ, be baptized, and grow in their relationship with God through discipleship.
Beyond this, our church evangelism and soul winning is also motivated by the desire to love and serve others. We believe that the gospel is good news for all people and that everyone has a deep spiritual need that can only be met through a relationship with God. As such, community church seek to reach out to those who are hurting, lost, or searching for meaning in life and to offer them the hope and healing that can only be found in Christ.
Ultimately, the purpose of our community church evangelism and soul winning is to bring glory to God by sharing the love of Christ with others and seeing lives transformed by the power of the gospel.
